DIAMONDS SCHOLARSHIPS
We developed the DIAMOND Award, which is a scholarship that is awarded on academic achievement and community impact.
We understand the financial need when attending college and we want to award our 12th grade mentees with assistance in some way as they navigate their first year of college. We have set criteria to apply for the scholarship and the scholarship policy must be followed. The scholarships offered will be sponsored by the donations received from generous individuals, organizations, and foundations. Half of the scholarship will be awarded during their first semester, while only ladies who have attended scheduled check-ins with their mentor and meetings, will be awarded the scholarship for their second semester.
This will encourage and spur both the awardees and other young mentees to remain focused and excel academically in school. It will also help lift part of a financial burden off the awardees.
To qualify:
MUST HAVE A GPA OF AT LEAST 3.0
MUST BE A Graduating SENIOR
MUST be a member of Luminous Leading Ladies at least one year
MUST have 90% Participation in Luminous Leading Ladies activities and events

In addition to Luminous Leading Ladies awarding scholarships, our program will also help provide assitance through Senior Care Packages for 12th grade seniors who aren’t awarded scholarships. We are committed and invested in working with our young ladies as they start college.
