DIAMONDS Community Service

In line with Luminous Leading Ladies’ core values of selflessness and service to society, community outreach programs are organized periodically to give back to the community. Both mentors and the young ladies will participate in humanitarian activities such as:

Feeding
the less
fortunate

Providing toiletries, coats, and blankets for the less fortunate

Providing educational materials and toys for the children in shelters

Assist individuals with disabilities during special olympics or other events

Reading to patients at a local hospital

All these activities will be sponsored by donations from generous individuals, organizations, and foundations. The young ladies will be organized into teams and our leaders will be reshuffled at every outreach. Thus, fostering teamwork and also improving each ladies’ leadership skills by working with other team members. By their participation in these activities, young ladies will see the good in community service, and from there develop to be big contributors to community development.
